Myers Retires

Please join us in wishing John Myers, driver/warehouse employee at our Distribution Center, a wonderful retirement after 27 ½ years with Erie Materials.

John began his career at our Syracuse branch as a truck driver, making residential deliveries then some commercial deliveries. He later transferred to the Distribution Center, where he has been working as both a driver and in the warehouse for the past 10+ years. 

John shared that he was fortunate to have the greatest dad, but the second greatest man that he knew was Bob Neumann: “He had a fantastic work ethic that he also instilled in his family and set the expectation at Erie Materials.”  John wanted to thank Chris Neumann for continuing in his dad’s footsteps and the commitment to the company.  John recognized that he had a great career at Erie Materials, but also made a life with the people he worked with.
