Erie Named Best Workplace in New York

In addition, Erie Materials has for the past two consecutive years earned designation as Great Place to Work US-Certified™. To receive that certification, at least seven of 10 employees must have a consistently positive experience. Erie Materials far surpassed that with 94%.
Erie Materials was established by Bob Neumann in Syracuse in 1973 and remains family-owned and independent today with Bob’s son, Christopher Neumann, as President. It distributes building materials for residential and commercial exteriors, such as roofing, siding, windows, doors, decking, manufactured stone veneer and gutters. Based in Syracuse, Erie Materials’ 370 employees serve professional contractors through locations in Albany, Auburn, Binghamton, Elmira, Syracuse, Utica and Watertown, NY as well as Scranton and Williamsport, PA.
