Erie Materials Earns Great Place to Work Designation
Feb. 20, 2020 -- Erie Materials Inc., a leading regional building materials distributor, announced that it has earned designation as a Great Place to Work-Certified™ company for 2020.
Established in 1973, Erie Materials distributes building materials, such as roofing, siding, windows, doors, decking, manufactured stone veneer and gutters, for residential and commercial exteriors. It serves professional contractors and architects through its locations in Albany, Auburn, Binghamton, Elmira, Syracuse, Utica and Watertown, NY as well as Scranton and Williamsport, PA.
This prestigious award is determined by validated employee feedback gathered with rigorous methodology. At a minimum, seven out of 10 employees must have a consistently positive experience to earn the certification. Far exceeding that threshold, 95% of Erie Materials employees who took the survey think it is a great place to work.
Some key findings from the surveys of Erie Materials employees were:
