Paradigm Windows Brings Colors Inside
March 2007 – Paradigm Windows has long offered one of the broadest ranges of exterior color choices for vinyl windows. Now, that complete color palette is also available for window interiors.Paradigm Windows come in 25 standard colors, which match a variety of Alcoa and CertainTeed coil stock colors. The selection includes Black, Bronze, Brookstone, Cameo, Cashmere, Charcoal Gray, Classic Cream, Clay, Cranberry, Everest, Forest Green, Glacier Blue, Grey, Harbor Grey, Heritage Cream, Ivory, Pacific Blue, Paradigm White, Sable, Sandalwood, Sandstone, Tile Red, Village Green, Wicker, and Woodland Green. The standard color choices will add about two weeks to the production time.
Paradigm can also provide custom color matching at an additional cost. Custom colors require a minimum of 10 windows and will increase the lead time. Customers may select different color combinations for the interior and exterior, as well as for the sash, frame and grids.
Paradigm uses a proprietary water-based, environmentally-friendly paint on its windows. Specifically formulated to bond to PVC, the paint is backed by a 10-year warranty against adhesive failure and color change. (Please see the warranty sheet for complete details.) The paint has been tested to all elements of AAMA 615-02 and its durability has been proven under all weather conditions. It won’t peel, flake or crack. It has excellent abrasion and humidity resistance, lasting color vibrancy and gloss retention. The paint is also nearly transparent to infrared energy, which minimizes heat build-up compared to white PVC.
In addition to interior and exterior paint colors, Paradigm offers many finishing options including contour and flat grids between the glass, simulated divided lites outside the glass, four types of factory-applied extension jambs, crown molding and 12 casing variations.
