A New Line of Windows from a Long Established Partner
Erie Materials has begun offering its customers the new Viwinco line of vinyl replacement and new construction windows.
Viwinco is best known for its three-day lead-time, the best in the industry. It has been manufacturing the CertainTeed brand of windows for 25 years and was CertainTeed's largest window maker in the United States.
"Viwinco and Erie Materials have been partners since 1995," said Robert Neumann, president of Erie Materials. "When the CertainTeed brand was sold to Ply Gem Industries earlier this year, we wanted to make sure our customers continued to benefit from Viwinco's unparalleled lead times, high product quality and exceptional after market service."
To prepare for the rollout, Viwinco spent more than two years performing thorough research and development as well as expanding and upgrading its facilities in Morgantown, PA.
"Establishing Viwinco brand products is allowing us to be more innovative, flexible and responsive than we were able to be in the past," said Viwinco President David Barnes. "I know contractors will benefit from features that make installation easier and homeowners will love our functional improvements."
Viwinco's line of replacement windows is represented by the value Edgemont and the premium Cambridge premium. Its new construction series is called Signature. In addition, it has a line of patio doors.
Erie Materials will continue to support all CertainTeed warranty claims on windows it has sold.
