IKO Earns Recycled Content Certification

IKO's Cambridge 30 fiberglass roof shingles and Aristocrat 25 organic shingles are the first to receive independent verification of recycled content from the prestigious Scientific Certification Systems. 

SCS found that Cambridge shingles have a minimum recycled content of 40% pre-consumer waste. The Aristocrat has a minimum recycled content of 33 percent, comprised of 8% post-consumer waste and 25% pre-consumer recycled waste. That means these products can be used to earn LEED MR Credits 4.1 and 4.2

Additional LEED credits for "regionally available materials" can be obtained when IKO shingles are purchased at any Erie Materials branch.
